A chartered accountant, tax professional and university administrator, Dr. Debo-Ajagunna brings together practical financial leadership and research in corporate governance and sustainability accounting.
Her university career began at Adekunle Ajasin University in 2004 and progressed through senior accounting and internal audit roles at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, to her appointment as the third substantive Bursar of Federal University Oye-Ekiti in February 2022.
Her work spans financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, bursary systems and the development of accounting professionals. She serves as the sixth Chairman of ICAN Akoko & District Society for the 2026/2027 chairmanship year.

Experience with Société Générale Bank (Nigeria) and Bolphi Investments provided a foundation in accounting systems, customer accounts and business operations.
Practical capabilities developed through university bursary, audit and financial management roles.
Preparation of annual financial statements, recurrent and capital budgets, account reconciliations and resource utilisation reports.
Design and review of internal controls, compliance reviews, fraud and error detection, and engagement with external auditors and public accounts committees.
Development of operational manuals, digital accounting processes, payment procedures, payroll reporting and institutional accounting structures.
Research and professional engagement in corporate governance, sustainability accounting, financial transparency and organisational performance.

Elected on 1 June 2026 and invested on 26 June 2026, Dr. Debo-Ajagunna brings experience as the district’s Pioneer General Secretary and Vice-Chairman to her chairmanship.
Her stated agenda focuses on professional development, inclusive membership and the next generation of accountants.
Also serving as Deputy Vice-Coordinator, Society of Women in Taxation, Ekiti State Chapter, from August 2026.

Dr. Adebolanle Debo-Ajagunna’s life of service extends beyond her professional and academic responsibilities. Her Christian faith has shaped a longstanding commitment to pastoral ministry, evangelism, mentorship and compassionate service to individuals, families and communities.
PASTORAL CALLING
Her pastoral calling is expressed through Christian teaching, counselling, mentorship and service. Her ministry engagements include spiritual guidance, family-life support, the development of women and young people, career guidance and participation in religious gatherings and seminars.
Through Debo Ajagunna Ministry International, she continues a ministry centred on faith, spiritual development, counselling, mentorship and service to humanity.

Debo Ajagunna Liberty Outreach (DALO) is an evangelical outreach founded by Dr. Adebolanle Debo-Ajagunna in memory of her beloved husband, Late Pastor Adebowale O. Ajagunna.
The outreach continues the spiritual calling and evangelical work to which he devoted his life — sharing the Gospel and reaching lives with the message of salvation.

The Bolanle Debo-Ajagunna Caring Heart Foundation provides humanitarian support with particular attention to widows and less-privileged members of society.
The foundation reflects her commitment to extending dignity, compassion and practical support to people in need.
Her ministry and community engagements also include the organisation and coordination of seminars and workshops for women and university students on marriage, family life, academic excellence, moral development, career growth and life pursuits. She also speaks at workshops, seminars, career talks and religious gatherings.
